Hi. My name is Alexander. I built 2dof racing seat. I want to share with you the report. I don't want to torture people by my Googlish, so mostly is a photo report. These photos were taken at different times, so sometimes design on them varies.

Article about this sim in russian. Google translate.

I used wisper motors from Daewoo Lanos. 12V, 30W, ~45rpm
Controller, firmware, motor drivers are self made.

I finished the device about a year ago, but the decoration panels added a week ago. Now the device is as follows:

Great job @Simal, thanks for sharing your sim.

Can you tell me where you got the uni joint from as I have been searching for one like that.

I think we would all like to know more about the custom controllers and firmware, though I appreciate Googlish makes that a bit of a challenge at times.

Did you use AVR or C to code it. ?

I'm from Ukraine, so i bought joint here (~$4) and cross here (~$3)
    Yes, it's AVR atmega88. I never programed Arduino, it's C.

    Hi,
I really like the joint that you are using but i can't found out where to buy them. The Cross "thing" is easy to find but i can't see the other part (this one). Maybe i only need the specific name of it so i would find them.
Anyone know here where to get them together?

That part is from old soviet car, so it's easy to find it in post-soviet countries (Russia, Ukraine, etc.). I'm not sure you can buy it in Vienna. But you can try to searsh that part by "part number" - 2101-2201023, or use similar part from some other RWD car.
