    Hi all.

    After working with @scalhoun on his Obutto Ozone 2DOF Conversion (Updated pics on his setup should be posted on that thread soon), I've decided to take the plunge into motion.

    Attached is my current setup and below is a list of the parts I have ordered to get started. Everything is pretty much the same parts that he used on his since his final result is really shaping up to be spot on.

    Motors: Gear Motor 12v 25:1 ratio
    Motor controllers: Two jrk 12v12
    potentiometers: two bourns 10k linear
    Two HP DL380 Power Supplies
    Drive shaft from Landcover Discovery

    So far i have $471.80 in parts with the roughly $100 more in hardware store purchases.

    Will keep posting as parts arrive and assembly goes on!

    Thanks @bsft I plan on taking the seat off of the frame and only moving the seat and shifter since the Revolution weights so much and then adding some form of transducer solution ideally 2-4 transducers

    Thanks @noorbeast I'm excited to get everything in and start the hours of building. I'm going to shoulder mount them so I am able to get the seat mounted nearly if not the exact same height as it currently sits so I don't need to build a platform for the monitor stand and rest of the frame to sit on and space isn't a huge concern for me since my office is really only used for racing and gaming on my other desk

    Okay, update one incoming!

    TL;DR: I have the enclosure for my power supplies and jrks done. Waiting on motors to get build finished, ETA for completion 7 days from now.

    So end of last week early this week I got in everything I ordered with the exception of the motors (which should be here early next week). Since I knew the motors would take a while I decided to take my time and build an enclosure for the jrks and power supplies all in one since I didn't like how the power supplies looked when exposed.

    So after about a week worth of random nights working on it after work here and there I am finally done with phase one of the build and have my all in one enclosure done. It consists of 2 jrks, two HP power supplies that are stripped of the their cases for better air flow and 6 fans. Two fans are intake fanes, two are inside the box to help move air, and two fans are exhaust fans.

    Below are a lot of pictures that I took along the way. As well as a couple videos showing the fans in action/the sound levels.

    Brief overview of some pictures. The first two pictures are of the 'junk room' we have at my office that i used to looked around in to find the fans, potential heat sinks, and attempted to find an enclosure that would work for my needs. After coming up short online and in back room I decided to just make my own box with some spare wood I had laying around. I wanted to make something that would look as professionally done as possible (Ill let you guys be the judge if i achieved that to not). So i cut some wood, mocked up where i wanted everything and just went from there.

    the enclosure is very nice indeed. Lovely work!
    Now, can I make a suggestion? Okay, cheers;)

    The enclosure is real cool looking so why not replace those massive bright silver screws and replace them with black screws. In my opinion, it will look so much better and give it a real clean pro look.

    The rig looks real good... I'm watching this for sure and it looks like you are well into this my friend. Great stuff!

    All right, still waiting for the freaking motors to show up so I'm doing a mid phase post. Here is my progress so far. Once i get my motors it should be about one day of work and figuring stuff out and one day of making it all look pretty

    Yea I've seen it before in car applications, I actually already bought all the materials i need to cover the rig just can't do it yet until i get motor placement and wires ran (all the wires will be hidden)

    Nice use of the 10x10 Tamper. :thumbs

    Also another tip, The threaded rod for rear arms, Might not be up to snuff. the potential for them to bend under stress, There again they might never bend and wont be an issue at all. Part of the reason i went with 3/4" round tube and had m10 bolts welded to the ends.

    IMG_0009.jpg Thanks it was actually @scalhoun idea for the tamper, they work perfect. Yeah I have 3/4 steel tubing that gets bolted and welded to them much like @scalhoun 's rig which is referenced in first post, They just aren't in the picture. Waiting to put them on until I cut the all thread to size so I know what length to cut the tubing which i can't do because the motors (freaking still) aren't here yet so I'm not sure where they final mount point for them will end up Really hoping they come either tomorrow or Saturday.
