    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF
I bought a 2DOF seat mover, NJMotion Compact EVO, few days ago. It was hard at the begining to make it work with Simtolls v3, using a PRO license. Every time I restart the PC, Simtools fails to detect the njmotion.

The error I get is that Interface could not be started. I have checked all programs/services and no one is taking control of COM3, the one used by the motion. In fact, when using Simhub, I told Simhub to do not scan COM3 port and in UDP Relay (also in Simhub as this feature is now gone in Simtools) I set to forward data to 4123 UDP port

In 8 days I have played only 2 days, and I still do not the reason for those 2 days to be successful. This is driving me crazy and even thinking about selling the motion for another one

What can be preventing Simtools to connect with the NJMotion?

    Thanks error log.jpg error.jpg Interface.jpg

In your explanation you mention both SimTools and SimHub, are you running both at the same time, as that may be creating a port conflict?

Being a commercial rig have your sought help from the vendor?

I uninstalled Simhub and the issue remains, Interface cannot start. I contacted the manufacturer but they are not aware of connecting issues and adviced to contact Simtools

I have been using it for one full day with no issues, in many games, having even Simhub opened at the same time. Today I restarted my PC and did not get it to connect

I uninstalled Simtools and installed again. Going through the process of setting it up, I cannot pass it, I do not get the green check

While community members here may well try and help, given you have paid for a rig the direct responsibility for support is with the manufacturer.

As I said my guess is a port conflict, so try rebooting the computer and an alternate USB port. @yobuddy may have further insights.

Temporarily disconnect any other USB peripheral, reboot and see if is stable or not.

Fingers crossed but I think the solution has been to change one COM3 by COM12 in Device Manager, as there were two COM3

That sounds like a port conflict!
