    Hi Everyone,
    I'm creating my very first simulator. I've planned with an ESP32 which reads the telemetry data via Wifi, and it's fully compatible with all gaming platforms.

    The motor is bit noisy but, I don't know yet the reason... Maybe to much voltage...

    Now everything is working, but it wasn't testet yet with full load. I'm a bit afraid, that, it hasn't enough power to lift and hold :(
    Any ideas or experience? Maybe a magnetic brake?

    It would advise to place the middle section more backwards....make sure that the centre of weight is in the middle.... I am afraid that if you put the seat on it, sit on it, the weight is way too much on the back....

    (I made the same mistake, which costed me some rebuild time ;) )

    Before the assembly I attached the seat to the upper frame, to calc the axis of rotation. The center can be moved easily forward and backward. So I'm not worry about the mid point. The motor is also moveable. I placed the motor as back as possible to reduce the load of the motor (maybe there is my mistake, as you mentioned). In my understanding moving far the motor reduces the load and the responsiveness. My concern is that I can rotate the motor by hand with few effort...

    50 cm to the arm and 12 cm between the arm and the motor.
    PWM noise sound normal then?

    Depending on hardware a higher frequency can push PWM noise beyond hearing range: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...-motors-while-not-moving-check-this-out.6697/
    That is not clear to me, the CTC is the measurement from the motor shaft center along the lever to the center of the hole the rod bolts to, so what is the CTC?

    Run that and the rest of your rig dimensions through SimCalc, as that CTC may be pushing it a bit too far.

    Linear speed: 928 mm/s

    I think the noise is gone with the correct frequency :) Thank you @noorbeast !
    Is the 400 N enough, or should I use shorter CTC?
    @Gadget999 it's a 3d DLP Benq projector and I never would go back to a monitor :) The real size give a much more realistic feeling.

    Benq th681 plus. But if you don't need a 3d edition the normal th681 is fine

    I believe you likely have way to much speed and not enough torque, so yes decrease the CTC, you can have a number of holes for actual experimentation. But first run a CTC around 70mm in SimCalc and see what N you get.

    Just another suggestion, given the design the CTC rest angle would be 0 degrees (parallel to the ground and top frame) rather than 45 degrees.
