Is this layout, with 2 motor in the back and one front left and one front right to use with flypt mover? I want to upgrade my rig with the sind on the back. Because I love the virtual tracker of flypt mover and use it for motion compensation I would like to find a way to use this kind of layout.

    I don’t know, haven’t tried.
It is kind of complex though. If I would do it again I’d probably do it in a different way. Like building a 3dof platform and just putting a traction loss thing on.

I have done some work on the controls lately. I had load cell brakes front and read, and they were ok but not great. The foot brake had a tendency to break when other people used it and the front brake was a bicycle thing with wire. Replaced them both with hydraulics, and I’m never going back!

I use the cheapest calipers I could find and 1000psi pressure sensors. Had some custom brake hoses made, that’s probably the most expensive part of the system!

The front pump was really cheap and equally bad. Talked to ISR brakes and they wanted to hook me up with one of their sets. More street oriented but really high quality stuff. Looking forward to testing those!

Put a vibe speaker on the brake lever and wrote some code to communicate front wheel slip. It was awesome but unfortunately it interfered with the sensitive load cells in the handlebars so I have to remove that again until V2 where the load cell will be relocated.

I found using calipers caused issues and just use a 1600psi sensor on the front (I blew a 1000psi in my first live test video lol) and a 1000psi for the rear but screw them direcly into the mastercylinder with thread adapters. The lack of brake hose seems to help the PC and sensor work better together.

I have no issues with the calipers so far, I like the feel they give. 1000psi is enough for this setup and the new ones are 1,3mm larger bore so I’m not worried.
I do my own electronics, so I have quite good control of the signal.

The electronics is my downfall lol. Been PMin with Vini to setup chat for us all but he wants discord which I get lost in so maybe you can help set this up. If we chat on skype first would help as it is actually painfull to type to long and my wriststraps keep hitting wrong keys lol.

Replaced the vibration speaker with small coin type vibration motors on the brake and clutch levers. It is not as nice of an effect as the speaker, but it really does do the job. The best part is that it doesn't seem to have any effect on the loadcell steering system!

The clutch vibration is set to communicate clutch slip/bite. It's extremely helpful!

Indeed, it’s an awesome program! Especially being able to edit the plugin.

Honestly, I'm a newbie and ready to learn new things, I know how to use a PC but I can't edit plugins yet. I don't know what it is but luckily there is such a good community.

If you write in another language than English, it’s customary to include a google translation in your post, makes it a lot easier for the rest of us! :)

I didn’t either, but received a lot of help! There are a few details that make motorcycles a little different from cars when it comes to motion rigs so it’s been excellent being able to try different things in the plugin. Normally you don’t really need to since everything is usually already there.

ISR Brakes hooked me up with a brake and a clutch master. The difference in quality is just immense! They are really huge though! :D

I use a button style load cell in the caliper for my hydraulic setup.
Effectively replacing the disc. Cheap and very effective.

Sounds sweet! Do you have a link for the load cell?

Yeah - easy enough to DIY but I bought a built one from Derek Speares Designs.
With the caliper, amp and load cell it cost me about $120USD
Could be done a lot cheaper if you could figure out a way to use the bar type loadcells. I tried using the wii fit board ones but my DIY wasn't good enough. You can buy a wii fit for $5 and they have 4 load cells in them.

Awsome build bro. Took this sim thing to a whole other level. Do you have to lean it to go round curves or no? Do you have any video of you riding it?

My old brakes were load cells only and I made the amps myself. I recently tried a small load cell with integrated amp that would probably work well in a caliper. I’ll see if I can find a link for it. I like the simplicity of the pressure sensors, even if the adapter took some time to get here..

Yeah, it’s deffo the craziest bike rig I’ve ever been on. Never tried another motion rig though.
I built a steering system that reads torque input to the bars and translate that to steering input. Combined with rider tracking it steers in a way a normal bike does pretty much.
