2DOF simulator with triple screen

    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, 3DOF, DC motor, AC motor, Arduino, Motion platform
    2DOF simulator.
    Wheel: 130ST servomotor + MMOS
    Motion: 2x450 watt NMRV motors
    Handbrake: magnet based.
    Shifter: FFB shifter (vibration - just one secondary function).
    3x32'' Samsung Odyssey G3 displays.
    Pedals: Hall and LC-module.

    Can you please give a bit more detail, where did you source the motors and what is the control hardware/code used with them?

    Keen to hear more about the FFB shifter and handbrake.

    (IBT_2 burning out for less than one second with this motor).

    Simtools. And a bit modificated SMC3 firmware. I used precision potentiometers with 1000 degrees work zone. So default SMC3 firmware need in correction. Also I added the potentiometer filter to SMC3 (typical averaging).

    Handbrake - nothing extraordinary. Just different vibration level depends on axis level + car motor rpms taking into account.

    Shifter - I like drive with manual shifters and hate when I can select the gear without clutch pedal. Shifter taking into account clutch status, data from sim. Vibrations (car motor rpms and wrong gears shifting) and it do not keep the stick if sim didnt confirmed successfull gear shift. Also shifter holds the stick without clutch pressing.
