Hello, I am starting my 2dof project, I have two automatic door motors, they work at 24v and about 60 rpm, I think they are good for me to begin with, the question I have is if I can use the encoder, or sensor that it brings, since this type of motors bring the sensor included to connect it to the control panel to detect entrapments and know at all times where the door is. Has anyone used this type of engine with this sensor? I can't find anything in the forum, a greeting and thanks

I forgot to comment that the sensor works at 5 v, that is, positive, negative and signal cable. greeting

Yes you can use the encoders

You will need to write a sketch to control the motors and encoders

thanks for your answer. I imagine you mean writing the arduino code to make them work, right? I will have to learn why I don't know where to start, greetings and thanks.
