Sizing traction loss gear motor

    So...I started designing my rig and have ordered some bits already and I've since changed my mind and want to build a 2DOF with traction loss. I have 24v DC 350w motors for pitch and roll but now I need to get one for yaw.

    I've used calctool to size those motors but have been searching for a couple hours trying to find relevant info on selecting the 3rd motor. I would assume I can go a little smaller with this one. Any info would be appreciated. For reference, I'm building something similiar to the DOF H3.

    use the same motor - it makes sense to keep them all the same

    also if you decide to upgrade the sim you can buy more of the same

    Well, that would make sense but they came from china and due to shipping, it wouldn't make sense to order just one. They were like $160 a piece ordering 2 but 1 would be like 250 or so.

    I was looking at some 100w motors on ebay for like $80. I guess, my main questions are...what is a suitable speed for the 3rd dof and what is a good rule of thumb for torque requirements?
