Hello, greetings to all, like many of you who are here, I am also immersed in a motion simulator project, I am happy to see so many people from so many countries pursuing the same dream. First say that the beginnings are difficult gathering information online, taking free time and many hours of sleep lost, but in the end it is worth seeing a finished work.
The material used are two 24v 3.3A 110RPM wheelchair motors, two IBT-2 BTS7960 43A boards, two DC 5V Hall Angle Sensor Non contact Industrial 0-360 Degree Rotation Angular displacement Sensor, arduino one and two 12v 12a batteries.

How much does the cockpit weight? How many millimeters per second does it move?

No hurry, but when you get a chance please add a video of your rig in action, many of us would appreciate seeing it.

I really like the work done, but I advise you to put on as little weight as possible

More than the weight are the creaks of the PVC of the structure, maybe I would need another material harder and lighter like aluminum and it is my next objective.;)
