did you make any modifications to the shaft as well, considering the linear bearing is inside the bottom cover?

Edit: damn. Photobucket has changed owners. The "new and improved" photobucket is a $6/month rip off now. Sorry. I have to find another image hosting service.

    Howdy,
I am just getting started with my project. I have all the parts on order and am starting to learn my new Ender 3 printer. I think my extrusions are here in the USA. No word on the China parts yet. It may be awhile before any of that happens.

My current rig is a GT1 EVO with a NLRV3. I did order the Thanos 6dof board. So I am interested in how its going with the two of them working together. With that being said, would you share your simtools and platform manager settings with me? And clue me in on any problems or software conflicts etc to watch out for?

you are one of the main reasons that I jumped on the sfx bandwagon, although my timing might not have been the most appropriate....lol

    thanks for sharing your build..

Congrats! I find the v3 and 4-actuator setup works brillantly together. I posted Simtools settings earlier in this thread. I need to update those, as the new "spike" filter on the Thanos controller changes everything. In sum, raise the intensithy to 100 in Simtools (not 99 as I showed), put all forces at "0" in the game manager (up from a range of -30 to 0); and setup the spike filter at a level of 3000 on the controller, and the smoothing filter at either 1 or 0, to your taste. All other settings as I show earlier in this thread. I find this setting fantastic. Incredible detail, but doesn't go crazy on crashes/off track.

As for v3 settings, I dial that back about 50% compared to what I previously used. I'll try to find detailed settings and post them up a bit later.

First of all, really loved the way you set up your rig... compact and looks great and rigid. Do you mind if I copy your dimensions? I too am building the SFX100 and planning to just strap it onto al profile rig ...

Can share the length and breath of the 4080 profile you use as the base frame?

Thank you for the great update and suggestions! Plan to use these with AMS2. Which smoothing filter do you prefer?

Wow, you really raise the bar--impressive! Awesome job! Can you share the dimensions and also what hardware you used to connect the NextLevelRacing seat to the platform? I'm considering building a motion platform with both the SFX100 and the NLV V3, but for flight sim. Have you tried it out with any of the flight sims?
