So what is everyone doing in regard to COPPA and the upcoming new YouTube rules? I predicted this (or something like it) coming quite some time ago and deleted most of my videos from YouTube.

I’m going to keep doing the same thing I have done for years already now and that’s avoiding using Google services unless I'm willing to sell part of my soul for it. The days of “Google is your friend” are long gone. Last year Google even removed the phrase, “Do no evil!” from their corporate code of conduct which has to mean something when they could have just let it be. Google is now an entity that’s all about getting as much information about you as possible whether you know it or not in order to monetize you. For example when I decided to quit using Google maps services on my phone that track me I had to turn off permissions in three different locations and not just in the app itself to stop them. Its like they didn't really want me do to that, lol. I now choose duckduckgo as my search engine as I get good results and they never track me. However, if you look for something on Amazon or Ebay for example everyone including Google is going to hear about it.

But now my Google rant is over and to reply to your question I wouldn't concern myself about the changes unless you are receiving money yourself from your posted videos. But even then the FTC is not an agency that is going to pursue a small time individual over such matters, they will target YouTube a.k.a. Google. Furthermore since there is no world order as of yet they can't pursue you anyway.
