    Hello,

I have designed a printed bracket that can be attached to the gearbox of the pgsaw motor and allow for the attachment of the commonly used hall effect sensors for position feedback. I have also designed the coupler that goes between the shaft of the motor and the shaft of the hall effect sensor. Here are a couple images.

I have printed these out of PLA although PETG or ABS would likely work better due to their better heat qualities. The bracket uses M5 hardware to attach to the motor gearbox and M3 hardware to attach to the shaft of the motor and the hall effect sensor.

The hall effect sensors used are the Digikey 987-1392-ND.

It is important to note it is tough to get the coupler tight enough on the motor shaft to the point where it wont move if you try to move it by hand. This is due to the low contact area between the coupler and the motor shafts threads. It turns out this is actually a good thing though, as if i want to change the centering of the lever arm I can move by hand the position of the coupler. I have not had any problems with the coupler not tracking the motor shaft though. I will follow up with a video to better explain.

Please note if printing these, most of you will want to mirror one of the brackets if your pots are mounted on opposite sides of the motors, the holes are offset. Other than that, perfect fit.

I think they are about the perfect rigidity, enough give to make up for slight misalignment.
