Question Servo motor. Good or not ?

    I found it on alieexpress. could I use this? instead of windshield wiper motors.

    Several forum members are using similar servos, maybe with other kgcm values, like @Spit40 (see here) or @T R Para (see here).
    They may be able to answer your question.

    My personal feeling is that these servos are good suited for moving g-seat paddles, but not for moving an entire seat, because the permanent load would be too high for them.

    Markus is correct. They will not work for your main seat moving power. The gears are much too weak and once you add some 50 - 100 mm levers the torque will disappear.
    My first build was with wheel chair motors which are ok for your first build .
    They do have some backlash but are very strong.
    I have a friend in the Netherlands. I will ask him where he got his motors.

    thanks for your comment. I will continue to search for other motors. if you can ask what kind of motors and where your Dutch friend got them from. I would appreciate that ;)
