It is very difficult. I mostly stick to Finland, but might actually start a career mode.

Hey Shawn, where was that autocross track? And it really looks like a race track with a few cones to look like auto x.. LOL. I'm used to a parking lot with hundreds of cones. And the golf simulator is my next wish list item but right now the 3rd bedroom is for guests.... :( haha. Rig is looking good also!

Shawano, WI. It was built as a world class karting track. They used to have a few lapping days every year as well as the autox events. It's switched owners and they seem to be catering more to the drifters these days. The golf simulator is awesome. If I had to give up one of the simulators it would be a tough choice. Race sim would probably win though as I can drive a couple miles down the road and play a golf sim.

    That's
Pretty cool to have that close to home. How much did that golf sim cost? I haven't looked too much but just curious. I probably have 6500 in my racing sim and computer. Built the computer myself. Saved some money there. Love it though.

About 3k for all the golf related stuff minus the pc since I already had that. I also renovated the room at the same time so that was about 2k on supplies for that. But still, a complete room for less than what you could buy a launch monitor for 5 years ago is pretty good.

Everything has been working well. I did have one actuator that would randomly stop and require restarting the system. Simxperience replaced it under warranty. Since I had to pull the actuator off the rig I decided to strip it down and fit a proper set of pedals. Back to the fab shop she goes. 20190225_092127.jpg

Hi Shawn, very nice rig and build. How did you do the Wilwood pedals? Was it a bought kit or you built it yourself? I want to move from my G27 pedals to real pedals like Wilwoods or Tilton (can't afford Heusinkvelds atm). If you built it, can you point me in the direction of a build guide or something? Doing my 3DOF rig atm, so got a lot of stuff to build (pedals, handbrake, sequential gearshift, H Shift gear, etc)

I purchased the pedals from Ricmotech. So can't help with building your own. Since I'm here, a little update on the rig. Rebuilt the platform so the traction loss is sunk in the base and made it shorter to make it take up a little less space.
