    Looks good but so does the Odyssey +. The +'s fov is 110 and costs a hell of a lot less too. Interesting info though.

    Not impressed :rolleyes:. IMO, with the lenses setup to give 87 degree FOV, the new pimax would look just as, or possibly clearer then this headset - well maybe not....:), but for most people pretty darn good for the money. PIMAX 5K+ at 2 x 2560 / 87 degrees = 58 pixels per degree (VR-1 stated at better then 60 PPD) - so not bad.. the 8k X (if it ever happens) will be even better.

    Regardless of cost it’s good to see higher spec’d headsets being released

    Price of tech decreases as higher end features become mainstream
