Here is my second simulator, aluminum frame and scn5 actuators.

I write here my comments, I just thought about the difference between scn5 and the wiper motor. The scn5 are formidable actuators, but their cost is very excessive. In my opinion with a similar budget you can do a lot even with 24v engines maybe 3 / 4of. What do you think?

SCN series actuators are high grade, very fast response & precise
    No heat fade no degradation
For the cost vs performance they are very good,

Standard motors are much cheaper but will not perform anywhere near SCN series actuators

SCNs are certainly good and will out perform wiper motors, but high performance DC motors will give linear speeds up to 600mm/sec, which is significantly higher than SCNs. High performace DC motors will give a little away to SCNs in terms of precision, given the inherent small amount of backlash with wormdrive gearboxes, though with higher linear speeds and slight weight preloading it is not a lot.

I love these actuators as they are very simple to configure and never give up.

Congratulations for your simulator with movement. I have one similar to yours and the truth is that I enjoy it very much, a high cost but that compensates a lot in terms of simulation, it is another world to a static one. A greeting.

Felicidades por tu simulador con movimiento. Yo tengo uno parecido al tuyo y la verdad es que lo disfruto muchísimo, un alto coste pero que compensa mucho en cuanto a la simulación, es otro mundo a uno estático. Un saludo.
