I did not think you would have changed your mind - we will have to agree to disagree :). But for everyone else here is a video at a higher speed then 30km - don't see much difference .... I have never thought it was ever an issue with Assetto Corsa's physics, but more what data and maths has been used in the Simtools plugin. Looks and feels wrong to me at any speed.

-10 +10 is too aggressive on TL Tuning center too btw.

The Only time the AC plugin was broken was when it went from 1.3 to 2.0 There was a glitch which mixed in the Yaw and would have violent snaps in relation to said Yaw numbers. Aside from that, I have video's that back up the fact that the TL works perfectly fine on a 3dof frame as mine is. Value1 can Attest to how long i was out of a proper TL plugin, :grin

What looks Wrong on the data side. the TL axis is a Building force as is sway, there's a snap over point too where running too low of Tuning center will blatantly make it feel dead wrong,

Example going down the straight away IRL, Turning the wheel left or right a little Doesn't make the car loose traction does it, No ....so why would you want your rig wobbling side to side with the slightest amount of Steering axis applied. Thats essentially what your doing with a low tuning value for TL, of corse that will feel wrong.

Value1 and everyone else that was a SimTools 2 Beta Tester can attest to this. ;)

OK, So '10' is too low? Would never have figured that out. I'm happy to be proven wrong and will give it a go at a much higher setting. Just to get a ball park figure, what do the members who have this working use for traction loss?

Try 18-19 for starters, you need it to be nice and linear as i explained above, 18-19 will give a full throw movement on a full drift (on the edge of loosing it) moment.

The skid pad with the BMW Drift car is a Good test, but dont get too carried away with it as circuit driving is still the end game, the Skid pad just allows you to hang big Dirty drifts without hitting anything, lol

I'm running simtools 2.1 with traction loss on extra 1 with no issues. Nick helped me get my whole traction loss setup sorted

I only use VR in my sim, so to make a video like this with Simtools overlays - AI is the simplest/possibly only way....

Ok, while that may be the case, the AI as you can hear from the inputs, Dont drive like a human despite being on the identical physical model as we are. So in reality is moot to what out motion is doing with AI driving,

The AI sure wont let the slip angle get very far with a TC limited Nissan GTR too.

You want to see Drifting, take out the old f1 maseratti's. If i recall, the AI get RIGHT sideways in those if you have the AI strength and Aggression slider up.

I can not get the traction of loss to work well, it's between 18-20 in the adaptation center, but it always gives me very strange sensations, it shows as a G force, not the ass position, can not this be improved?

video of said "strange sensations" would help. Even better if you can monitor the Live Axis and confirm what the data/Physical Frame is doing,

What are your Axis % ?

Also clarify the G force vs Position please.

Greetings. Found a problem - in some miraculous way, TL stopped working in SimTools 2. The Extra1 slider does not even budge in the Virtual Axis tab. Extra2 and 3 work fine. I didn’t turn on a sim for a long time, so I can’t remember that I’ve done something to disable Extra1, if that’s possible. Yesterday I rechecked all the SimTools tabs, but did not find the option that is responsible for on / off. Has anyone ever met this?

Unfortunately I can not find the necessary tab on the specified path. In the settings of the tuning center everything is ok. I have two versions of AC (v1.8 32 bit "Stanalone" and Steam v1.16 64 bit) I tried to launch the Steam version of the AC - in it the Extra 1 works.
