This looks kind of cool. Anyway, if anyone is interested. Looks like the same concept as Feel Three and they advertise compatibility with SimTools.

It looks slow but maybe appropriate for flight. Also, all the demos are with GearVR and not Vive or Rift. Looks like motion cancellation would be a requirement for any kind of sim use.

    Still a pretty neat concept.

    Hi Zed,

Yes, you are right. We tested the YAW VR by SimTools (These were first of our tests). LFS and MS Flight Sim work perfectly but we've tried more game as well. If you look the upper video we reduced its speed only to 10-15% percent of full power because of safety. On the CES we used a very simple fligth simulator demo, but the YAW VR is capable to move much faster (that's why we upload a new video to our kickstarter page). And we've just modified our controlling so that it can move more aggressive.

Yes, we used for the demo only GearVR but now we are developing some demo for Vive and Rift.
If you have got any question please don't hesitate to ask us! :)

    Best regards,

@Balazs Pecskai Are you planing to do some sort of motion cancellation for the oculus Rift? So far with other simulator this is a problem when we move around.
If you plan to do so, how are you doing it?
    Thanks.

Yes, we used motion cancellation in the demo software of GearVR on the CES.
But the Oculus is why we're discussing some software developer team.
The hardware is ready to send continously its position to the software for correction.
(I'm sorry that I can't answer exact solution, but If I'm informed I will write to you )

Sorry for my late reply. We use DC motors with encoder

Congratulations and good luck with your project!
In contrast to many other motion simulators I have seen so far (and mine in the very first place), yours has the advantage of its nice design that makes it look like a modern piece of furniture. This will probably increase the Woman Acceptance Factor, which (in some households) may have an impact on the decision making process regarding a purchase.

Is the mechanism of the motion platfrom based on the ATLAS platform?

Unfortunately I haven't known yet the ATLAS platform. Our main development issue were the lightweight, foldable/portable, simply nice structure (and of course affordable price) That's why we have got this result.
