But my post is aboutis it gunna be any good, i never realky played the first that much i always switched to assetto corsa tbh.
Just something drawn you to assetto n not project cars.
I thinking we should get a better performace in vr aswell as it says its fully supported which is a good thing.
My real qestion is tho, has anyone got any one to one with the game yet or on dev side.
    Lets get some excitement going

I will probably buy it just to see if the handling is any better, by all accounts it is supposed to be and I hope it is . The gfx are beautiful no denying that and it seems the multiplayer should be loads better too time will tell.

Big game for me is Dirt4 but doesn't look like VR is coming at launch :( so that's out the window for now grrrrr

I hope they don't turn setting the FFB setting's up into needing a degree in rocket science like they did in the first one ,,,,

Also i reckon they'll be onto a winner if they have an online licence grading system like iracing ,,,,

Soon, PCars 2 will be released.... i'm exited, how good it will be. I hope, it will be a cool game. Part 1 in my optinion is much worser than Assetto Corsa.

Not very good Physics, the ffb with Jack Spade Custom Files is good.
The best is the safety ranking for clean online races, if you don't want to spend what iRacing worth.

Now i tested it and for me it's the same problem like pcars 1....i have big performance lags. I have i7 4790k + 1080 OC (win7). My settings are (all) to low and SS only 1.0.....and my PC can't hold 90fps. I don't know why. Maybe because win7. The same problem i had with pcars1 (now its worser than befor). On assetto corsa i can use postprocessing (but low settings) and SS 2.0.....and i hold 90 fps! I'm sad, but i refounded it, because, on reddit i saw many people with the same problem. And because pcars 1 is still bad, i don't believe, pcars2 will be fix the problem in the future.

    Edit: I use vive....

I have had pretty good results with PCars 2 thus far.
FFB is fine with the Jack Spades files, "Physics" are much better than PCars 1, but not quite as good as AC IMO, but still very good.
VR is implemented the best of all sims hands down.
Graphics are great in VR, Weather is outstanding so far.
I rate it at a 8 out of 10 with more improvements coming in patches hopefully.
Will it take over my love for AC? Not sure, but it definitely fulfills the staleness that comes with any hobby.... Only time will tell...

Profile settings ? i struggled big time to tune the data or lack there of, You've ran My settings in the past with no issues, so maybe it'll work vice versa,

But to be Bluntly honest I dont plan on spending much time on it as Jumping back into AC for some Beta testing last night, just felt like Home and i knew what the car is doing instantly, Not questioning anything as it all felt as it should. No Awkward "oh i braked WAY too late, Yet somehow made the corner....o_O" the Awkward thing's i feel in the data are quite distracting and proof its still the same old engine, with a bunch of eye candy slapped on top to cover the issues. And lets not get started on the AI, Lol

For the FFB im running what most of the DD guys are which is one of the Jack spades setups, I haven't plated with the actual Jacks FFB setups much aside from the FZ slider or what ever they are, and still overly confused with those sliders when adjusting one or the other. it being a global FFB setting is also NO bueno, your constantly adjusting car for car....o_O

And what tracks have you felt a decent mesh on, the one's ive tried have all been pitifully bad, lemans especially....Drone scanned,....lol what from 1000' up in the air ? its impossible to get good surface detail without Neck snapping Mesh transitions on lemans, so that killed it....oh soo many nit picks.....:(

I was waiting on a response from you lol....
Not saying its better, just another option in the sim world.
I unlike most of the sim racers are more open minded to differences in various sims and like each one for different reasons.
Again, Do I think it will take over AC, probably not, but it is a welcome addition for sure.

I couldn't say that any better. I will say in my motion seat I get good braking/abs feeling and also tyre slip but then the car gets on a straight and not much motion. :-( oh and VR performance is shockingly bad.

Just a few impressions of pc2 after a few hours chiming in:

-FFB is not that bad but not on the same layer like AC
    - a lot of crashes of the game (restart needed)
    - no native nvidia surround AND 3dvision support, still MANY issues so far
-vr is crap on a stick, sort said ugly.
    - a bunch of non laser scanned tracks with flat surfaces, producing annoying FFB
    - deja vu in terms of pc1

I have. Looks great here. Mostly it was the SS value for me I think.

Im on the HDK 2.0, obviously SS isn't working in my case, better said it's working but without the desired effect. Anyway look at WMS community, a bunch of user are complaining the bad visuals in terms of sharpness.
