    First of all, I want to thank the usual suspects ( @SilentChill , @SeatTime , @wannabeaflyer2 , @Pit , @RufusDufus and @BlazinH for the SCM3 classic and Sabertooth mod ) and some new ones @Hoddem , @Pierre Lalancette @Grigory and some more for sure.
    Well, after my first 2dof, I wanted more (heave over all) so I thought about building something like this:

    But smaller... Also wanted to do an structure that can be easily modified to convert in a 6Dof as I was sure that I will want to keep doing things (it is a lot more fun for me to read, study, research and finally build than to actually use it :p ).
    As always, it is really difficult for me to get good motors, usually motors and things like that are retained in customs, so, last time I used modified electric jacks, now the jacks aren't powerful enough, so the next available motors are 1hp winch motors!

    I had to wait for 6 months until the local dealer got the new winches, in the meantime I got from China some 1605 ballscrews, a nice racing seat a pair of Sabertooth, etc...

    After some research, I decided to build linear actuators using winch motors, custom made 22/25mm carbon shaft and UHMW lathed parts.

    So here I am, today I got the upper structure ready and I decided to start my build thread.

    Wheel and pedals can be regulated, it is black powder coated, it is not the lighter structure, but not the heaviest (about 30kg with the G27).

    I will need a lot of help on the electrical part!

    Some power for the motors and buttkickers LFE (I have two LFE's but I think it is a little too much.. )

    Behringer ep2500 (one channel 2500 watts or two channel x 1200w each) I did some test with the Ericson and one of the winches in rapid changes of rotation on SCM3 and it doesn't even get warm (it is passive, no sound at all).
    Ericson 24v 1200wats, one for each Sabertooth.

    It is not exactly the same, also the fix to the lower platform on the rear actuators is different. Anyway, if it doesn't work , I will build a 6dof, I already have almost all the parts.

    The upper rose joint mount was made in UHMW in a lathe, it goes really tight inside the carbon tube, and once I screw the rose joint it is almost impossible to get it out, but I will add a little screw to mechanically fix it.

    This is a Pneumatic Cylinder Mounting, it will be used in the rear actuators as I only need them to tilt and avoid any other movement.

    Added pulley system and end-stop floating unit (sound clever ;) )
    The idea is to have a little more travel for the inertia that can get the nut, and avoid damage to the endstop, just put a longer spring in the lower part as it is the part where inertia will hit harder.

    The pulley was lathed so it can fit over the potentiometer screwable part to lower the lever force over the shaft.

    I'm changing the axial bearings in the lower part of the actuator for a more standard FK12 bearing, and if I am not satisfied, I have a little more radical redesign...

    Ok, changed the bearings for FK12, also some modifications on the actuator, ready all the lower parts, I hope next week I can have 2 of them ready and mounted in the sim. Already tested the modified actuator with Simtools and works fine.

    Little update to my project.
    I managed to lower the weight of the sim by 22kg (48.5 pounds) it took me 3 and a half months of hard work...
