    Hey guys,

Just ordered a small mige osw kit (pre-assembled). Sorry I was too scared to attempt to make it myself lol

I did order the fanatec quick release adapter and I currently have a clubsport v2 wheelbase and the universal wheel but I would like to get a new rim with paddles or buy a rim and add paddles etc too it instead of using fanatec if possible

Any info on how to do that? I'm not even sure what kind of wheel rim to buy and since I race in a league with gt3 cars on assetto I want some good quality paddles to use

    Thanks @Nick Moxley

I did see that site but made the decision in the end to use a fanatec wheel on it. Got the harness coming from fanatec and got a quick release fanatec adapter with my OSW

Fanatec wheels are an awesome start to the collection, I started with my BMW and F1, I Suggest looking into a QR setup that can allow you to add All your wheels to the collection in the future.

Keep an eye out on OSR's page, I got a few goodies to release soon that will be changing the market structure of the OSW QR game....no more will One particular company have a monopoly.....Times be a changin. :cheers

You did great ordering the Fanatec motor-side QR with your OSW. The Fanatec rims work very well on the OSW, and the BMW GT2 rim really shines in this application. Absolutely a first-rate rim with buttons, vibration, and display. The OSW has enough torque to really drive that heavier rim (which was a bit too heavy for the CSW v2 to really move).

If you can find a fanatec motor-side wiring harness, you can even rig up your OSW to be plug-n-play with the Fanatic Rims. You'll retain all button, display, and vibration capability (with Fanaleds). Add a Bodnar USB conversion board on the motor side, connected via the Fanatec through-hub wiring harness. I used a 5cm, 70mm bolt-circle wheel extension to house the board; looks great, too.

this mod has been well covered by multiple people...>Even cheaper using the Teensy LC which is about 10$ (soldering required***if you cant solder, go the more expensive bodnar chip route)

PS V2 fana has More than enough power to throw the BMW wheel around.

Sim Racing Machines in UK makes a great Fanatec USB Conversion kit that goes perfectly with Tomo's quick release hub.
