Question What to do with old set of Fanatec CSR pedals?

    Trying to find a way to make my old set of CSR pedals useful. Not worth anything (Fanatec is trying to get rid of stock at $40 a pop) so trying to sell them for dirt doesn't interest me.

    Has anyone gotten these to run with some usb adapter or arduino? The ClubSport USB adapter doesn't list the CSR pedals as compatible so really hoping I don't have to junk these.

    Turns out that they are all just some potentiometers plugged into a board that converts the pinouts to RJ-11 (or 12). Got a Leo Bodner BU0836A 12-Bit Joystick Controller and plugged them right in. So that is that.

    Hey man would you mind sharing some information on how you were able to get the pedals to work via usb? I got a set for 10 bucks and would like to use them on my starter rig. Does the one controller work for all three pedals? Do the pedals work any better or worse than using them with a fanatec wheel? Are they hard to set up to work as a stand alone item? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

    Hello,

    I would like to buy a Leo Bodner BU0836A 12-Bit joystick Controller (39,89€) and a female PS/2 socket.
    I do not want to cut the wires off, that´s why I prefer wiring the Leo Bonar board to a female ps/2 socket where the Fanatech RJ-45-PS/2 cable from the pedals fits to. I plan to add some buttons for assigning to something (like look right/look left/look behind with 4 way switch (how does it look like?) and some single way buttons for horn, ignition, toggling something).
    As housing I take some expensive wood veneer and wood I already got, because I want some practice. Then I should have a Fanatech CSR 3pedal PS/2 to USB converter with some buttons.
    Does anybody know how to create the wiring plan needed for this?
    I probably have to choose that Windows 10 preinstalled USB driver without "HID" because this solved the logitech shifter not being able to be mapped in GT Legends.

    Or is the Signal coming through the cable encoded? PS/2 has 6 pins. Does the three GND pins have to be put together to the outer ring of the PS/2? Then it makes sense.
