Just ran the plugin on my pc at home, saw no issues with the plugin. Im also on windows 10. I dont think running it on another pc is going to help you because its specific to that system in my humble opinion. I'll test again when im home and let you know if I think of anything. The only other thing I would say is to make sure windows is updated and update java. Iracing uses a browser for launch and I use chrome as my default browser but I use IE for iRacing.

In general I have simtools open on windows startup...so I just go into game after that. I do know that in the past there was an issue if I remember correctly where folks had to alt tab out, launch simtools and then go back in game. Maybe give that a shot.

i set up simtools 2 yesterday and iracing is working fine on my system if that helps its showing that you have issues on the system not the simtools or plugin.
    motion works great alot better.

yup..but since you and others reported that the plugin is ok then i suspect my OS mybe have fault...so the best is to try start fresh and only install sim tool 2.0 with iracing plugin..

just to comfirm that my OS ok or not...

if let say the problem still there then i dont know what to do next

@value1 once again TY for this plugin. I have been testing a lot with this plugin. I have noticed something odd with the roll axis. while it does react a bit to the change in roll center as it changes with the speed/angle of entry into the turns, it isnt strong enough to outweigh the track. Example: The front strecth @ laguna seca, it has a slight left all the way up the hill and back down to the breaking point for turn 1, the track on the otherhand pitches right, left then right again. When floating thru the turn the simulator follows the track way more than the roll of the car, pitching right, left then right again yet im doing 100+ to the left. if there is a way to increase the numbers used for the changing car and decrease the amount of track angle used this would allow me to use roll in my profile. at this time the effect of roll is unusable with this setup as it isnt correct and mostly just follows track angle. I had a similar problem in my 2dof on ovals that are banked to the left, the inertia of the car going through a turn at high speeds never overcomes the banking of the track. I just used sway as roll as my 2 dof couldn't produce true sway. If I could just run two instances of sway(maybe extra 2 please...) this would improve the feel. As it stands i am inducing a small amount of roll(less rear movement with sway causes a little left to right pitch) but am very limited as it changes the feel to do this. Sry to bug. I hope this is an easy fix. I would be willing to mess with it but I am not a programmer or a brilliant mathmetician such as yourself. yes im sucking up bordering on begging:blush Ty in advance.

Hmmm, if I understand you right, you want to have roll relative to the track. Maybe calculating roll (and pitch) from the suspension position could work… upload_2017-1-20_17-24-51.png
    Gimme some time…

It follows track now. I need more car.
Sway works awesome for this but would need a second instance.

    No something is broken.....

Not sure of the source simtools, smc3 or the plugin but maybe you can help? Here's what's actually happening. I pm' d value1with this info but will also share here. So I enter IRacing it's starts at the replay window as normal. I can adjust any of the effects in profiler and my rig doesn't move. At this point simtools is connected and my rig is holding position. So then I enter the track the car immediately leans to the left. Roll is on and set at 25. If I now adjust the roll effect the sim leans center or leans left depending on the slider, like in testing. Still not to odd except the sim is now misaligned with the track. So I then Exit the car and return to the replay screen. At this point I can now move the slider for roll and the rig moves as in testing. But I'm in the replay screen? No other effect no matter what I do will make my rig move while in the replay screen. Also while on track it never adjusts the rig to match what's happening. It alway leaning to the side even when the car is flat. If I turn off roll it works fine. Just without roll. I can't repeat this with any other effect
Yes I realize the limits of this rig but this is not do to my mechanical limitations. I had the same issue with my 2dof but just used sway. I reported this while in beta but it was never discussed or addressed. At this point all I need is extra 3 to be turned into another instance of sway then I can tune it out and not combine sway and roll into one effect as I have it now. But roll in its current state is unusable for me...

    Sry for the long post:think

Edit: this was present with V1.3 also. The track used was Bristol motor speedway.

ok so here is a video that shows it. let me know if you want to see behavior on track as its not included.

sry for the long begining as i forgot to save the settings after turning on roll and had to after i started. skip to 1:40 to see whats happening.

Ok. What are the 'Virtual Axis' showing while the game is active? Is the data from the game correct? Unfortunately I do not use IRacing as my internet connection is too inconsistent. Are other racing games OK?
