    Awesome project and details.

Just so you know using high res images inline for posts, particularly from an external site, means most don't render on Xsimulator.net pages on a slow net connection like mine.

It would be really helpful to have a link to the external images album.

The pictures do not render on a slow connection, so you can't click on them. In some cases it affects the load of the Xsimulator.net page itself and things like the reply box will not render.

It really makes good with the TL

And as I say on another post, the surface used is not gigantic

The rendering is good with fixed screens

AC, Shibuya track and the Kick A** BMW e30

As Ive learned when I put guys in the rig who "think they can drift" It quickly exposes the want to drift, but the skills to actually pull it off are sorely lacking.....Its not something that you pick up overnight and I will say that the OSW made things Light years better in terms of realistic forces and realistic FFB feeling while maintaining the light feeling's your expecting when you loose the grip on the front end. The Fanatec and Buhlers was more than Do able, but the Mige motor is on a completely different playing field.

The precision is just that much better, I was never able to hang a drift at speed and walk it back and forth back and forth, Im starting to be able to do that now, Also controlling the "snap back" of the rear end is sooooo much easier now, No more Wobble wobble wobble after coming out of a drift if you dont catch the rear end 100% perfect.

Just waiting on my cube to show from granite(a painful month of waiting lol). So yes this is why I'm interested. I agree doing this with my g25 is difficult and doesn't work for me. Wheel weight is wrong amongst other things.
So I went to this Marlboro drifting thing a few years back. These were ride alongs in mustangs on a short drift course. The thing I noticed most was the pro driver really only grabbed the wheel to throw it. He would wait for the car to start coming around then just throw the wheel and let go, he would catch the steering wheel after it spun 360degrees or so. Then he would modulate the gas then throw the wheel the other way. It was as much fun watching him drive as it was getting tossed.

Ty for the info, looks challenging.

Oh your in for quite the WOW moment then Bruce, lol g27 to Mige, thats a big step up. Be ready for it . And By All means hit me up when your ready for some Granity settings....I struggles at first but once i had a baseline from a fellow racer, ive been Tickled pink ever since. Which motor did you get ? Hopefully just the small mige, as I feel the 30nm mige is a total waste when you can OC the small mig to 27nm if you want and have the wattage to do so. Also what PSU did you get and what case are you planning on using ?

    V2 what exactly ?

I happen to have a Pro drifter buddy whom unfortunatly is a little too large to fit in my seat, but i might ask for one of his smaller drift buddy's to come and check it out and verify some of the wheel's paramaters while in drift, IMO it feels great, going light when its supposed to, Auto spinning itself when the tires are doing there thang....overall Its awesome.

    BTW not even a G27.................
Im using a G25 that is 9years old and has nearly 400000 laps (yeah mostly in circles so what). I have been fixing and repairing it for awhile. the encoder is hot glued on at the moment. So it is time. it is past time. ty for making me jealous lol.
