In the Ard and all other controllers that fail safe distance uses the maximum motor speed which is really annoying ... I prefer it to be like a smooth washout ON to the center and OFF to the parking position ...

Hi @SilentChill , I just wanted to say that the Build is fantastic and apart from the Motors I have sourced everything ready, I build all sorts, but this is going to be a challenge. Not far away, in sunny Blackpool, lol. Something I have wanted to build for a while, and my Brothers Oculus CV1, arrives Tuesday so even more reason. Thanks Again.

Hey Chill, great job. Love the videos man. Fun to live through them and your reactions.

In regards to your head tracking issues, take a look at how these guys mod the oculus to get what I assume is better tracking.

I don't know the details on what that entails but it might be a good way to get an improvement on your sim. Worth looking into...

Motion cancellation is required for such large axis movement in VR. VectionVR developed it for the Rift but it is not particularly practical as it needs to be compiled into the game, so never really took off: https://github.com/VectionVR

LFS supports the VectionVR motion cancellation, but as far as I know that is about it.

Yeah I saw some posts here on the VectionVR and the guy who was going to code it up but instead sold his rift in disgust because is has to be implemented per game.
But chill is using his camera onboard. So I thought this could help. I do see why cancellation is the best way though.

To say the least this game is awesome, the lazer scanned tracks are ridiculous. Maybe I should tone it down a little but in a nice road going Ferrari its smooth not too bumpy but in that Lotus I felt everything bones shaken and rattled

Will have to get on with some of the others on here have an online race :) @Pit @Nick Moxley and who ever else plays it :)

Do you make different Game Manager profiles for the different car/track combinations you use? That way you get a more dialed in motion profile,

A different Game Manager profile for say the AC Cobra and Formula cars makes a big difference and is pretty easy to do. That way you can have lots of heave for the Cobra say on Nords, where it literally leaves the ground, but tone it down a bit for a Formula cars as otherwise they would shake your teeth out.

Awesome lol, But just FYI the 98T has some questionable suspension/data being used for the Aero, driveline, ect ect....Its one of "those" cars that can easily go 20-30 seconds faster than IRL times from back when.

Also PS you can move the Damage indicator in the .ini's its got a X and Y co ordinate you can play with to find when its comfortable.

PPS 100% boost will blow through most gear combo's you throw at it. 1100hp at full chat is a lot of powa.

PPPS Lol @ the end...what happened there ?

@SilentChill Your a machine :thumbs. don't know if I could jump in and build another 6DOF. FI Note that I ended up using poly bushes to be alot quieter and non abrasive on the dual skin carbon shaft.

@SeatTime I saw you used poly brushes I had a look and thought the linear bearings would be easier to install I didn't think that they would be abrasive  Poly brushes are loads cheaper than the bearings too maybe I should rethink :)

I am not building a new sim just going to replace the motors/gears/arms I have now with the new actuators. It should all fit together nicely I hope

Those Parvalux are incredible cheap and powerful. Saw them on ebay UK and other places in UK.
