Because I like to dig deep into things I tried to get a 3D projector working on a not officially supported resolution.

If you own a (f.eg) LED projector which is 3D compatible (720P@120Hz) and capable to support higher resolutions like 1280x800 but limited to 85Hz then - probably - you have a chance to get them working outside of their specifications @100 or @120Hz by adding a custom resolution.

All what you need is a lower polarity clock which results in a lower pixel clock. You can go as low with the settings as the projector it will support. Too high pixel clocks result in a "not supported resolution " or "outside of parameters" or anything else.

Usually you cannot destroy your projector, they are protected if the resolution is not fully compatible.

A higher refresh rate results in a "better" picture quality but 3D is not supported.

The same applies to LED displays and other resolutions. Feel free to try it out.

Does the 3D work well with your curved screen?

The screens are flat, not curved...or are we at cross purposes? lol If you would like to know if 3D is working on surround - yes, it works (3840 x 720)

Click on persons name, Click Profile page, Click postings from the tabs, Scroll down and click on "find all threads by XX" which should usually bring up a somewhat limited amount of threads that person's started. Now Searchign for Racingmat or Noorbeast might be a challenge as those 2 have a Wack load of threads they have created, But for the most part this method should help you find the persons project threads and in turn a video of their rig if they have one posted.
