That would be awesome! ETS2 works like a dream with the Oculus DK2 so I'm antsy in my pantsy to marry the Oculus experience with my motion sim! No luck getting motion so far but I'm assuming it's because to use Oculus and I have to install the 'beta' branch. I'm hoping that ATS will have Oculus support right out of the box..

P.S. My wife gets angry at me when I spit out the window

My wife suggested that I put a door on the left of my simpit so I can roll down the window and put my arm up, lol.

I have heard that ATS works natively with the DK2. I use my DK2 with the ETS2 beta and it works really well. I haven't hooked up my motion to ETS2 yet though.

I just brought ATS and the Oculus Rift mode is a beta just like ETS2.

I will give it a test tonight and see how it runs with the rift.

KartKraft is just heading into Steam early access and will be worth keeping in mind for motion down the track, as it looks awesome so far: http://kartkraftgame.com/

It looks really great, if only it will drive as good :thumbs

I like the small detail at around 0:40 where driver at start line is looking at signal lights before launching..

I watched this video this morning and it's very promising ! I hope it will be easy to get motions and the compatibility with the Oculus rift will be perfect.

Let's hope it won't be like the karts in pCars, that I really hated.
I agree, looks promising. It takes a very reactive rig to simulate karts

I think (as usual) you'll have to buy the game (early access) when it will be available.

I've saw a plugin for Gran Turismo 4 using PCSX2. So, why not making a plugin for Initial D Special Stage???

Also, someone has tried out coding a plugin for F-Zero GX or any Mario Kart game??????

Not sure where to post this but anyway. I have done some testing with American Truck Simulator and the ETS2 plugin works fine, I just need to trick Simtools in to thinking ETS2 was running (by running a dummy exe called eurotrucks2.exe)

The normal 64bit ETS2 plugin worked perfectly once I copied it to ..\SteamApps\common\American Truck Simulator\bin\win_x64\Plugins

One thing to note is that ATS is 64bit only now so you don't need to worry about including the 32bit plugin.

I think it will just be a matter of changing what exe SimTools looks for, the name of the exe for ATS is amtrucks.exe

Maybe @value1 could have a look at creating a plugin for this.

Thanks @Avenga76 as always you are a great help! :)

EDIT: Can you append your information to the ETS2 plugin thread as well? Just in case someone goes looking?

Cant you just edit the plugin to look for the specific exe thats running to initiate the plugin?
