Can anyone explain to me what the settings under OUTPUT section do?

    What is <221>
    What is <63>
    What is <255>

Are there other options? This has always worked for me. Game starts, seat centers. I know it has something to do with what happens at the start and stop. Not sure what.

    @shannonb1
As I understand it 221 is the on command
63 tells it where to go
    225 turns it off
You can change the 225 to 221 if you have sag etc betwen games which keeps power on and stops backdrive if you've got it. Very handy on wipers or 25.1 worm drive etc.

SimTools 2.0 has a dedicated JRK interface using the JRK sdk.
So this interface output will be a think of the past pretty soon.
And those with JRK's can expect a better ride from 2.0.

    Correct @Rastus
    221 is Set Target
    63 is the target
225 is switch motor driver to standby

A lot of jrk users running 25:1 motors and weak wipers , that both turn freely without power use the same as the startup command for the shutdown command , thus as @Rastus explains holds the motors at centre , but this does draw power and will cause jrks to warm up, but if adequate cooling with fans is present this doesn't pose an issue.

And yes @yobuddy , man the Jrk interface with test versions of V2 has been a totally different feel, Worth the wait guys.
7bit we have with v1.3 feel arcade against the new Jrk Plugin.
Thanks @yobuddy the definition in motion is , well WOW !!!

OK cool guys, so by saying that 63 tells it where to go would 50 mean centered?

Existing interface uses 0 - 127 setting position on jrks, so making 63 centre,
this is why I use to use my custom app by setting output to a udp app I wrote which @yobuddy has converted into a true interface plugin with V2 of SimTools,
All we do now is just select Jrk as interface and set which Jrk ,indentified by Jrk Serial Number, we wish to use with which axis.
Simple and now sending a true 0-4096 big ,big difference

Without @eaorobbie tests on the JRK's and its sdk, this interface would not have been possible. (as I don't own a jrk lol)
So if you use a JRK, be sure to give eaorobbie a big thx! (thx buddy)

Wow, that's a huge difference! Maybe now has more sense having a 300°/360° pot! Precision will totally be another game.
Thanks for testing and making it possible. :cheers

As a developer I know it's a horrible question, but... Any ETAs?

ok makes sense. When is 2.0 coming out though? I tried to get a beta invite but no response. Any ETA? Im tired of soon as a response since Oculus tried to kill me with that for a while lol

btw, 1.3 does work in 12 output for the JRK.
It does also run in 7 bit mode like eaorobbie said above.
But like eaorobbie said, the sdk output is much better!!
This is probably because it treats the connection as a native USB controller and not a attached serial device? (who knows)

I think "<221>ß?" - should give the true center when in JRK 12 bit mode.
Can someone try it with v1.3?
Copy and past the output for "Startup - Output" right from here. <221>ß?
    Let me know!

Please note that SimTools has officially gone beta!
    (was in alpha stage before)

There is no effort to keep people out of the beta, I'm just was not ready for more people yet.
Once the 5 of us can't find any more bugs, a bigger beta test will begin.
And I will start posting (How Too)'s on the new parts of SimTools 2.0.
Anyway, there is no reason to feel left out, I just wasn't ready for more beta testers at the time.

Anyone try this with their JRK yet? ("Startup - Output" = <221>ß?)

Yes, that works. I set my JRK program to minimum, stopped motors and then initiated the game. They returned to center.
