I had a look around and found commercial rudder system way, way, way, omg.. to expensive for this fiscally challenged slave to society. I happened upon a smallish exercise step machine.. looked at it and rushed home with my well gotten goods, about $2 worth.

got some springs and two rubber dampening/centering straps, destroyed a Madcatz steering wheel set up one of its turn pots with literally a piece of wool I had lying around (still there), replaced the massive foot pedals with two g-clamps.. bang!.. works a charm.. do have to adjust the pot now and then... but it works brilliantly. I am building another for the joyrider, thinking of implementing the centering with a heave effect on the whole machine... maybe.. I'm hoping to get the entire rear if the machine to heave so to speak, weight pending.

Anyway it was a cheap solution to an expensive problem, enjoy.

    Nice solution @Jesse05James.

Could you possibly add some close up photos?

Is that War Thunder or Wings of Prey running on the screen?
