DCS just upgraded its Oculus Virtual Reality support in the latest Beta release and is now expanding to include support for the HTC/Valve Vive: http://vrfocus.com/archives/25463/digital-combat-simulator-world-gets-htc-vive-support/

There is still no word about the limited 2015 consumer release of the Vive, but it is a safe bet that the consumer Vive and Rift will be widely available in the first quarter of 2016.

It will be difficult choosing between the two as an early adopter. CV1 or Vive? For seated applications maybe its a draw. Perhaps waiting for some initial reviews and comparisons will be best but I for one really want to pre-order one of these babies!

I will get both, but I may wait a bit on the Rift until the controllers are released, which will be after the Rift itself.
