    I see you plan JRKs and DC motors, what gearbox ratio are you using with the engines?

    It looks like you have a CV joint for a pivot. You may want to consider a cross brace with heim joint ends between the top and bottom frame to prevent unwanted torsional twist.

    Nice work :thumbs Even though we talk about using a big uni joint from a car, unfortunately it is not obvious that ideally your pivot should not be able to twist at all - you will see why when you put it all together. Nice workshop to, metal lathe and mill - we can only dream...

    To me it looked like the seat frame had been tack welded at all joints for setup purposes.

    Don't worry, it will be reinforced the right places, this was very early in the build, I will upload some more up to date pictures asap! But hey,I joined up so that I could get benefit of your experience! I will need it soon enough, the sim/feedback part,that's where I'm on deep water! Thanks!

    You might find that your rose joints run out of travel pretty quick how they sit now. A conical spacer either side of the joint will give you about 30% more travel. I suppose it also depends on total movement of the rig but something to look out for.
