New guy, controller calibration question

    Hello.
    This might be obvioius but I havent found any info on how you sync a new design and keep it from locking up mechanically? Looking at a 6 dof for instance, does the sim software calculate the geometry based on some initial setup? Second question, from watching some youtube videos where the monitors move with the rig, they seem to be subjected to alot of vibration. How long would they last since I would assume a led tv was designed to be stationary?

    how long is a piece of string?
    Hard to say, with screens moving, depends on how you mount them, if they are cushioned in some way to protect them against vibration.
    Mount them, use them till they break I suppose.

    I have been inside similar device, but that was older and had very poor display, image was blurrier than in Rift DK1 :D Otherwise it was a fun ride :)
