Need more USB's

    My Motion Simulator:
    3DOF, DC motor, JRK
    I was all ready to try the new plugin @value1 added for LFS (traction loss), but now my cheapo 4 in 1 USB is crapping out on me. My laptop only has 3 and with my 3 JRK's, wheel/pedals and sound, I need some advice on the best option.

    I am assuming my cheapness is the current cause of my problems because I did not spend very much on my current USB hub. Actually, I am thinking a hub is the only option since I am using a laptop. So, I am curious to hear what brand/style of hubs any others have found to be acceptable. It kind of takes the fun out of it when the traction loss motor AND the steering wheel just stop working in the middle of the game.

    So - hub users - please tell me what you like.

    I use an cheapo 4 port hub ($10), can come down to quality of cable too and if Hub is 2-3 metres from main pc (laptop) then a powered hub will help any voltage drop on the USB's 5V's.
    Try another USB port and see if issue remains.
