My wife and I have accepted an offer on our property. This means that we will be moving out the first couple of weeks of September and building a new house over the next year. Unfortunately I think I should sell my rig as it would be a huge hassle to store it.

Also, during that time I might not be available very often in case we get over run with spam members ;)

    I will keep you updated.

By next year....THE MAN CAVE!!! :D

I find no home is big enough, I went to a home double the size of what I had, it took 6 months to fill up and now we need more room again.

We are actually downsizing. Right now we have 7 bedrooms, a 2.5 car garage, a 1500 sq ft shop, and four barns.

Ahh man. Didn't you just get that moved in recently? I'm in PA so if you decide to sell any gear just let me know.

No, we bought it in 2000 and renovated it. The Amish built it in 1997 so we have spent the last 14 years setting thing right....like attaching walls to the floor....(no, I am not kidding).

Irony, all this work and it is the Amish that are buying it from us.

My wife is pressuring me to sell my rig, perhaps we could talk you and I.

I did not fall of the face of the earth...yet. :)

We did indeed sell our house and are now desperately trying to build a place to live before winter gets here. My wife thinks that I have read Game of Thrones too much, I keep walking around mumbling "Winter is coming". :D

Right now we are building the shop and garage, pole building style. There is an apartment above the garage that we can live in while we finish the house. Hopefully we will have that complete by spring if everything goes well.

We can send the kid down to grab it! :)

The poles in place, just need to get them inspected and then fill in the holes. New well in the background.

Shop and garage with perlins and headers up. And 60 yards of sand to level the floors up....tractor broke so much of that was moved by hand.... :(

Radiant heat tubing for the shop, keeps it nice and cozy out there while I work on my Hornet pit...er.....kitchen cabinets..yeah...thats right, kitchen cabinets! :D

Setting the 10-12 pitch bonus room trusses on the garage. My brother in law is about 40 feet in the air....the guy is nuts! I was very glad to have him around though.

It is getting closer. We have until Oct 29th and then we need to move over there. We were lucky that the new owner wanted us to stay in our old house until they were ready to move up here.

Good luck everyone on your projects and I look forward to playing catch-up when our house is complete. I have been given the entire 1986sq feet of finished basement as my "man cave" so I have someplace to put my toys :D

Obviously no OH&S Regs in your part of the world. In OZ a fall arrest system would be required if working on a roof. Looks like a good place to build your next sim pit.
