    Thanks for the help. I'm trying out Elite Dangerous with DK2. With motion rig, it will give the sensation flying a spaceship in my lifetime.

    @boboghost1 first of all welcome to xsimulator :)

    But this is the fourth message that I write in Chinese Japanese ... (I have no idea) and you did not notice that here you only speak English? Use google translator for pleasure ;)

    Hi, this is my first attempt at a sim rig, starting slow but who knows what i will end up with :)

    The stuff i have set up for now is g27 wheel, HOTAS warthog and a buttkicker gamer 2 with an Oculus Rift DK2..
    Hopefully i can get LFS running good with the bass shaker and i dream of Elite Dangerous support in the future.

    Hi,

    New to the community, but looking forward to contributing. I'm a longtime sim racer dating back to Indycar Racing 2 and GPL. I used to compete passionately, but now I'm not serious about a specific sim. Generally my time is spent bouncing between Assetto and RBR. My rig is static but solid; I run a Fanatec CSW bolted to an rseat formula with 3 screens.

    I have a strong background in vehicle dynamics and controls, both in simulation and application. I've never touched motion, but I have studied it over the years. I think I have a good understanding of the core concepts like vestibular vs. proprioception, onset cueing, and no motion > bad motion. I have many hypotheses I want to test, and I really want to dive into the controls problem of optimizing the human experience. That's the juice for me.

    Getting to the point, I plan to build a motion sim. But before that happens, I want to dig through the forums and learn from the community. My first goal is to be able to spec a simulator that will give me useful and satisfying knobs to turn. Second goal is to build to that spec. Third goal is to lose myself in coding/tuning the controls.

    I'm happy I found your community. I hope I can one day add to your body of knowledge.

    Welcome @PisoMojado, it sounds like you will have as much to contribute as you will gain from all of the info and motion gurus here. I look forward to seeing where that takes you.

    Welcome @hennies1. There is plenty to check out here and some really helpful people once you have an idea of what you would like to build and the inevitable questions that do with that.
