Hi all! i am currently in the process of finishing a 2dof sim and have failed to stretch the limits of the arduino & moto monster setup (unless someone thinks otherwise). I have a 30A power supply, the one commonly known for LED strips, and 16A max motors. I was checking out this http://www.pololu.com/product/2393
And was curious if it was the same as the 12v12 in terms of feedback? i wouldnt have to get a separate component for closed loop feedback? And was also wondering if there was any plugins developed for such controller to work with "Simtools" out of the box.
Any input will be appreciated! i can give more specifics or pics of the setup if needed. Thanks! --Kurtis Bell

P.S. Im between this and the Sabertooth 2x32 with Kangaroo x2. Possibly some opinions which is more compatable or user friendly?

Unfortunately, neither the roboclaw nor the kangaroo have turned out to be very user friendly for simulator control although they are both compatible. The roboclaw’s closed loop control has yet to be proven however.

Whos code are you using because the combination has proven to be fruitful to other members in the past.
Maybe code or settings within the code is holding back your sim , and not the actual electronics.
