Hi! Many of the people in this forum uses Monster Moto Shield of Sparkfun, the problem is that, the monster moto is not available in my country. What I am planning to buy is this: http://www.dfrobot.com/index.php?ro...6&search=motor+shield&description=true&page=2

Can you please look at the link and tell me if it is right for my simulator.

    Thanks

    Ralph M.

    Hi @prilad ,
Thank you, is the current ratings of the motor controller is right?

    Monster Moto Shield specs:
    • Maximum current rating: 30 A
    • Practical Continuous Current: 14 A

DC Motor Driver 2x15A (my chosen one):
    • Maximum output current:15A@13.8V per channel
    • Peak output current:20A@13.8V per channel
There's a big difference. What can you say?

    Hi, @Ralph Manuel.

The choice depends on the type of motor that you are going to use. For wiper motors, for example, rated current - 4..5 A ( motors power 50W) with peak current 12..15 A max this H-bridge is enough.

As I say before the max motors peak power should be less 200W (I think rated power should be less 150 W) .

But I only "theorist". May be some "practices" give you advice:nerd

The motor I will be using is a wiper motor (12V).
Thanks for your humble opinion :)
