I didn't understand the problem (unfortunately the translator mixed up a lot) but if it can help in the meantime can you please post the configuration of the interface, the k8055 seems configured, if you manual it works you just have to turn on the "connect to simtool" hoped to essert helpful

    Hi billo2404,

The Problem I had was that when I connect to simtool. my motors starts to turn slowly in one direction and I have no control of them and its started to jitter. As soon as I uncheck the connect to simtool box, i managed to stop it and drag the slider bar to move them back in neutral position. I find that my K8055 interface isn't communicate with simtool game engine.
When it is not connected to simtool, I can manually move my motors to max & min by sliding the bar. And Also I tried output testing them, It isn't responding.
I tried changing the port to different value to 4123 or 9600, its started to jitter when I check connect to simtool box.

My FS9 game is running and I can see the values are changing in tuning center. That tells me it extracting the DOF values from the game. I don't know Where has gone wrong?

Before even testing in Simtools you need to be able to comfortably run them in App as able to move them without them freaking out.
    K8055 - Timings and testing.png

Set the timing right first then make sure the pots are right then set a Fast and Slow speed and enable motor and test with Manual Slider, while testing you can adjust the fast and slow speeds to make it better plus also if the motor seem to lag as in not move will with the slider increase the response slider.
Once motors are moving well you can then connect to simtools and test their and enjoy a game or two.
Once you have all the setting right , press save and next time it reloads all your settings should be good to go.

    Hope that helps.

In the beginning the Velleman VM110N was a candidate for my motion control. At the time there was little to no interest in SimTools integration. Now we have it! Can 2 of the VM110N be used at the same time? Any 3 DOF and more will require more than one. What is the latest work being done?

I am excited to learn that there is now some K8055 support! Since most of the work appears done, is it possible/planned to add pulse mode digital output support for pneumatics, instead of just DAC pin (like shown in pic)? I know it is not a common need, but for some users it would be great! I have 2 sims that I have K8055 for, and still stuck on the old software!

Bump on this , I would be running a similar setup with a stock valve body from an old rock n ride, and controlling that with a new k8055

    Bonjour,

First Beta test for a K8055 Interface - SimTools

Hello,I set up a DIY simulator to an association for the weekend happens in order to try driving at all for a day of motorsport held in my village.

I am manager of a small computer box and set myself to set them yesterday I have spend the day, not !!!Installing simtools goes well. The card is a K8055 is not automatically recognized by simtools, so I took this at first:

First Beta test for a K8055 Interface - SimTools

This software works very well, I directed the simulator correctly on both axes. The only problem, this software does not communicate with simtools if I understand.
    So I took this one:

    K8055 Interface V1 - 2 DOF 2014-07-07

That her air of being configurable to simtools but not installed because the error each time.

The basic PC is a 64bit Windows 10, I thought that this could be the version I took a PC with Windows 7 32bit and another with windows XP and it is similar.

The error that setup is referring me:Unable to download the application. Missing files for the application. For assistance, contact the application vendor. The thing is that the day held in place this weekend so I sorely lacking time.

If anyone can informed me it would be very cool.

Hi robcoll, did you ever get simtools to work with your k8055 board? I am having problems trying to get the k8055 interface v1 to connect with simtools. I have the same set up as you (a diy 2dof simulator with the k8055 & sabertooth). I think my problem is with the interface settings in simtools game engine, i'm not sure if i've set it up correctly. If you are up & running you could really help me out. Thanks.

Hi Noorbeast, thanks for your answer. Here is an image of the changes i have made to the interface settings, not sure if i have done it correctly. K8055 interface V1 still will not connect to Simtools 2.1. I have spent hours over the last 3 days trying to work this out. I know some sim racers have managed to get the K8055 interface V1 to connect to Simtools, i just wish i knew how they did it.........
