    Hi,

furthermore I think about the feasebility of a motion platform. It's a kind of brain storming on top of that. The size of the motion platform should be about 2,5m x 2,5m (max.:3m x 3m), in order to place my 737NG home cockpit.
The load-bearing capacity should be about 500-600kg.
I think the platform are similar like this one http://motionforsimulators.com/galleries/photos/motion-systems/

I would like to use the motion controler kagaroo x2 and the sabertooth dual 60A driver , because it would be suitable for the BFF software (v.3 X-Plane) and it's acceptable from the price. Unfortunately it's only suitable for brushed DC motors.
In the attatchment you can see a DC brushed motor and my question is, would the motor suffice in relation to velocity, torques, acceleration etc.? If no, what data of a comparable brushed DC motor you would recommend and must I have a gear box in addition?

regards from Germany and thank you in advance

    Rolf

Hmm, last time I checked the community name was still xSIMULATOR.net (DIY motion simulator kits) not Simtools.net... Maybe place a sign on the front page mention that this is support forum ONLY for Simtools software, and related DIY drive controllers and DIY motors and DIY screens and DIY steering wheels....

    just saying...

Oups, what about the Jrk? Oh noes, they are commercial products! Sabertooth too!! Motors are sold commercially!! We are doomed!!! lol
