Well as promised working code, last one rewritten by our kind sole , Aarondc, this now works better than my original code.

Thanks again this should actually receive a sticky or maybe a Wiki write up here on site. Let admin decide that.

Love the idea of starting with a small rc model sim first. I ahve plenty of old servo's laying around. I may have to try this first. Help become familiar with the computer side of things

Yes! This is exactly where I started as well....er...I should say this was my first successful start that is, lol.

Rob's code has been a great help. Do not forget to make sure that serial monitor is commented out in the code otherwise you will not get any motion from the servo's. I beat my head against that issued for a week ;)

EDIT: I should have said to make sure you comment out "define #Debug", not serial monitor.

@Darkhanbaatar take a look here but just to inform you, you probably wont get any further help as this forum has changed to www.xsimulator.net and you are looking for xsim.de setup

I do encourage people to spend a little time to build a simple model in order to gain some experience in using SimTools. Then when you come to build and setup a real rig , you have already learned the basics and everything goes so much smoother. Apart from that its really rewarding experience to build and see in action.

Ok earobbie!! Have bought a arduino uno, Microserfs, breadboard and a small bridge h .... I'm downloading games and applications to start sketching on a small scale! mechanical and electronic part ... but I have no problems in programming do not know practically nothing ... I see many tutorials and researching enough before starting to assemble!

My codes is for using RC servos on an Ard to produce a model, if using a H Bridge I can strongly recommend using @RufusDufus 3dof code to run a model @hooshang built a nice 6dof model that his testing now with the same code as RufusDufus. Best bit he has produced a nice setup app that allows testing and visualization via a chart, one of the best setups I have seen for Ard use.
Again my code is for RC Servos only.

Ah Microserfs do you mean MicroServos, they will run on this code , no H Bridge required, but for running more than two servos you will need a 9V power supply connected to the Ard as you can only draw 500mA from the Ard when plugged to a usb port. Or another way is to use a 5V/6v 1Amp psu and plug the +/- of each servo to the power supply and the signal wire from the servo is only needed to be plugged into the Ard, this is my preferred method. Then simply use the code and you will see with in the code where the servos need to be pinned in or you can simply change the pin out to what you are using, code is very flexible. Another not be careful of the polarity when connecting an external power supply to the servos as they will not handle reverse current, simply fries the internal board in the servo. For beginners I do recommend using an RC BEC which will filter the power to 5V/6V and wont allow you to reverse the polarity and normally only a couple of bucks for a world of protection.

There is a simple wiring diagram in the post too.
Any problem , just ask and your welcome to manipulate the code to suit what you want to do and republish it. Its all about sharing and openness.
I still today use my model for testing new game plugins before firing them up on my full scale sim.

Many thanks for any information @ earobbie! The h bridge I bought to avail the shipping seller's auditioning and then go on a bit larger engines ..... I intend to make a 2dof first, and I will prepare the connections of Ard and servants as you suggested, with a fountain in 9v servants and the signal at Ard ... Once at the components put a picture of them. I'm anxious to start riding!! Rsrsr can rest assured ... I will ask until I'm sitting pretty in my simulator!!
