    Hi,

I discovered this awesome site about 8 months ago.
Since then I started building my own project.First I started with a 2DOF wipermotors
Then I moved to 3 DOF with added continuous rotation to simulate cornering and drifting

    Here is the video

In this case the construction is more complicated because I had to put everything on board (PC, DC supply, Sabertooth 2x12, bass shaker, monitor)

I'm driving in socks too :)
It's giving me better feeling how much to press the pedals. Though I've never tried racing shoes, they are pretty thin as I saw.

I have size 13 feet, so driving in socks is a must as my shoes tend to cover the pedals too much, making it tricky to drive.

I drive in socks. The damned pedals on most racing wheels are just too close together! And they don't have the correct back pressure to feel right when you wear shoes either! I wonder if we started a, "I drive in Socks" club how many members we would get? lol

I bought those flimsy beach shoes which cover the entire foot but have a flexible sole. Great for driving as you can still feel the pedals.

Sorry to further derail your thread MRZ, great video and I hope to see more details of your build. :thumbs
