Want to know more about over-steer, under-steer, threshold breaking, heel and toe downshifting, braking force, cornering force, etc etc etc?

Great video by the Skip Barber team from the late 80's/early 90's. Tons of helpful information to help you improve your lap time.

Hey Eric, I was thinking about getting that book. There is a new version which is supposed to be an omnibus of the original three series book.

Has it helped at all? Right now I am really suffering from the lack of skill in braking.

    Hey Historiker, :)
After watching this video, I do not think that buying the book is necessary. For most of the book is in this video. I would say that in the book you have some additional information.

If you still are interested in purchasing this book, I can tell you it is very well done with great picture and clear explanations. I like this book because I used as a reference from time to time.

The art of braking is some thing that all drivers try to improve at different level. One thing is certain, braking later  is more penalizing than braking early ! o_O
    :cheers
    Eric

Thanks for the info Eric. My biggest braking issue is Heel and Toe. I really need to get that down if I want to learn to brake in a curve.
