hi @mariano68 been waiting for parts and bank balance recovery :) 4 of my 6 Actuators are done bar some minor tweaks , as of my last round of testing I'd have to say these Parvalux PM90 motors are Great and subject to aggressive testing , already indicate that they will do the job for my design , Only a couple more 1605 Ballscrew sets required and All Actuator will be Finally assembled then it will be SMC Mode 3 ( For DE Sabertooth controller ) for Individual actuator set up and load testing before fitting to the 6DOF frame ( still debating Wood Vs Metal ) metal obviously more robust but Wood allows me to tweak ( correct my errors :) ) easier .

    Thanks for the update.
I was looking at your videos in youtube, you had a 6dof almost ready last year, lever style, why did you decided to go actuators way?.

These actuators are looking really good, a little loud but still really good. Great work. I'll be following this with interest. I just know that once my gseat is finished I'll be wanting to mount it on a 6dof. Could you give a cost breakdown per actuator? Those parvalux motors look to be about £40 or have I the wrong ones?

Great work! a heck of a lot cheaper than 6 VFD's and ac motors/gearboxes!!

Hi Guys thanks for the encouragement, will start with decent update once the final few items arrive this should not be too long now, Hi @RiftFlyer I'll be the first to admit my actuators ...do sound loud, but I have an advantage over you guys LOL... Im actually 100% Deaf without my magic tech so noise is not an issue :) I just switch off my Bionic ear as I call it and a Thunder clap or cannon going off right next to me would not get any attention from me ROFL its all down to vibration with me once the hearing aid is switched off...

Mind you with my Cochlear implant hearing aid activated, then yep I can definetly hear that one is noisy so will have a decibel meter handy when all 6 are going full tilt , just so I don't annoy the guys next door Cheers Guys Update and testing video will come once the basic test frame is made , by the Way the Other sim project was on hold due to self inflicted controller problems and would not take a lot to get it up and running but the linear actuator option is top of the agenda as im repurposing some of the elements of that sim ..

Hi @adgun been awhile since we swapped ideas about making these units for diy, tech got cheaper so what was once very very expensive is now getting close to affordable (still expensive but worth it ) for us diy wannabes ... the main thing is how did we survive before EBAY lol... a lot of the times its right place right time massive savings .. motor were less than £27.00 each .. got 8 if thats not a bargin I dont know what is :)

I am going to start getting all the other bits as and when I can.

Is it possible for you to share your 3D printing files too ? :cheers
