You' ve got it. Nothing is written permanently into stone. We can still fine tune the coin system when it is not working for us as expected.

My old boss always said: It doesnt matter what you do as long as you do something.

    Hello,
The removal of credit 1 coin post by reading only risk he not discourage systematic reading reading the newly published ?

    Bonjour,
La suppression du crédit de 1 coin par lecture de post ne risque-t-il pas de décourager la lecture systématique de la lecture des nouvellement publiés?

The decrease systematic reading rate of new post does not he risk of lowering the interest of advertising?

La baisse du taux de lecture systématique des nouveaux post ne risque-t-il pas de faire baisser l'intérêt des publicitaires ?

Actually i do not see a reason to switch back to the old coin system. The only complaints i got so far were from user who have not been logged in for some time. When they noticed after abstinence that the coin system changed slightly i was asked a few times if there are no more coins for reading.

I also can not see an increase of difficult to handle spammy posts just for the sake of getting coins.

If anything coin spamming seems to have decreased.

Coin Spamming: People making frequent posts (every minute or few minutes) in an attempt to get coins. Lots of posts that say "Great Job!", "I like it!", Wow, I am going to do this also", and of course "Thanks!".

    :)

@Hoyt Smith you don't even have to go to FAQ as @noorbeast stated, in this case, just read this thread from the start, it's all there. BTW I read your replies to 8 threads consisting of 20 complete pages which you did in 32 minutes and all I gleaned was that you ride a Harley, just wasted my time, not very helpful at all. Trolling for coins maybe??

You really should start your own project thread and explain your intended GameDash project, that way members can decide if they would like to donate some coins.

I do really like the coins concept in that it encourages people for being active in the forum and having a big impact in making this community such a big source for information on the simulator topic.

However I think it would have a nice effect to remove the coins impact on downloading images. First because I like posts with embedded pictures much more than the ones where all images are attached and you need to click on each single one, to actually see something. And second, it's really annoying when you click on an image by mistake (while scrolling on the phone).

    Just a thought :)
